Artwork details
Artwork is printed on Archival Matte Paper also called Moab Lasal Photo Weight: 230 g/m². Inks: Canon Lucia Inks, printed with Canon iPF8400. It features a smooth, matte surface, neutral bright white and is acid-free.
All prints come with a 1" white border. For example an 8x10 image has a total paper size of 10x12 including the white border for matting inside any standard 8x10 mat opening, which typically sits inside most standard 11x14 frames.
A few images are also being offered at an 11x14 size with a white 1" border with a total paper size of 13x16. These will fit inside any standard 11x14 mat opening, which typically sits inside most standard 16x20 frames.
Colors & Resolution
Because every computer monitor, (including the best macs) show color differently and computer monitors often drift out of color calibration, the colors you see in the artwork on screen may vary from what is in the archival print.
Often times screen depictions are punched up or overly saturated in color. Each computer is different, depending on its luminosity, set color profile and brightness. This subtle difference from screen to actual print is usually not noticeable, but should not be thought of as flawed print.
Images are loaded on the site with lower screen resolution (web). Actual prints are more clear and sharp as they are printed with higher print appropriate resolution of approximately 300dpi. Some of the images are made with sourced vintage pictures which have sharpness that is native to the image when it was taken, and not able to be enhanced. A softer focus would be expected.
